Daniel Boone Park
This file appears in: Flat Lick, Kentucky
The camping spot at Flat Lick was used by Shawnee Indians moving along the Warrior's Path and by settlers moving along the Boone Trace or, later, the separate Wilderness Road. Daniel Boone Memorial Park occupies the site today. The original D.A.R. plaque from 1915 remains. It was remounted in 1989 when the park was dedicated.
