A Rosenwald School

Many of Kentucky’s African American schools were funded by the Rosenwald program, like Cadentown School, shown here, in Fayette County. Lincoln School, however, was not. Lincoln School’s construction was funded in part by the Works Progress Administration and the Franklin City Board of Education.
